Kleinburg is the estate end of Vaughan. The village along Islington Avenue is small and walkable, home to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and its Group of Seven galleries, and the September Binder Twine Festival that has run for decades. Around it are the estate lots along Nashville Road and the newer luxury subdivisions south of Major Mackenzie that have turned Kleinburg into one of the region’s most sought-after addresses.
The Humber River valley wraps the village on three sides, with the Kortright Centre for Conservation and William Granger Greenway trails minutes away. Highway 427 now reaches Major Mackenzie Drive, which makes the airport and the 401 a direct drive.
Why people choose Kleinburg
- Estate homes on large lots, newer luxury subdivisions off Major Mackenzie and Huntington Road
- Islington Avenue village core with restaurants and galleries
- Humber River valley trails and the Kortright Centre
- Twenty minutes to Pearson via the 427 extension
