Caledon is the countryside half of Peel: rolling escarpment, the Credit River, the Cheltenham Badlands and villages like Belfountain, Inglewood and Caledon East. Bolton, on the eastern edge next to Vaughan, is the largest community and the one most buyers from our area look at, with subdivisions of detached homes and a walkable old town along the Humber.

Elsewhere the market is acreage: estates, hobby farms and century homes on the concession roads. Mayfield West, on the Brampton border, is the newest growth area near the Highway 410 extension. Most residents drive, with GO trains at Mount Pleasant and Bramalea.
